Lobby design for DataPro

The office is part of Russia’s largest DataPro data center. The project was carried out as part of the reconstruction of a former industrial building with a downside in the form of low ceilings.

In this regard, it was decided to supplement the structure of the existing building with a double-height entrance group in order to correlate the type of room with the «overhanging» low ceilings. The all-glass facade of the entrance group made it possible to fill with light those areas that were deprived of natural light in the original design of the building. The bureau emphasized a minimalistic technological design, which coincides with the main activity of the data center. Architects proposed a contrast-based visual design: a pristine white background and bright color details, interspersed with surfaces and elements of natural materials.
